Just the other day, I was shocked to hear a close chum of mine say that he’d stayed away not only from the Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage but from other resorts in our beautiful city in the heart of the Palm Springs Valley. His reason for this odd avoidance? A condition he called “valet intimidation”! It seems my buddy—who isn’t keen on paying valet parking charges for his wheels—felt awkward driving up to these luxury properties, bypassing the valet stand, and maneuvering self-parking.
Well, did I have news for him! With validation, valet service is always complimentary, not only at the Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage but at all of the city’s resorts. Therefore, no need to feel uncomfortable or embarrassed—or to pay the hefty fees that venues in larger urban centers charge.
That means that you can have a wonderful, leisurely lunch at State Fare Bar & Kitchen at the Ritz-Carlton…or luxuriate in a soothing spa day at Spa Las Palmas at Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa…play 18 holes at Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort and Spa…or try your luck at the slot machines at Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa…all while leaving the car park hassles to the professional men and women who will make it their pleasure to take great care of your vehicle while you’re enjoying yourself—and to return it to you pronto when you’re ready to roll. (But please be a class act. Tipping is appreciated.)
Armed with this good news, my pal has invited me to dinner at one of Rancho Mirage’s resorts. I get to pick the place; he’ll drive us. And yes, we’ll valet the Bentley!
