Although often tempted by the plethora of fabulous autos available at dealerships in the Palm Springs Valley, I just don’t have it in me to switch from my beloved Jaguar to any other car brand. So I was super-psyched to be invited in early September to Rancho Mirage’s Desert European Motorcars’ new and expanded joint Jaguar and Land Rover showroom to see the expanded selection of gorgeous vehicles on sale at one of Southern California’s premiere purveyor of luxury automobiles.
Following an eight-month construction project that transformed the former Land Rover showroom (plus an adjacent lot to the west) into a gorgeous two-story, state-of-the-art space to show off some of the newest and most beautiful cars on the market, a huge crowd gathered at the ribbon cutting ceremony. Attendees included Todd Blue, Chairman and CEO of indiGO Auto Group; Rancho Mirage Mayor Dana Hobart; and Rancho Mirage councilwoman and councilmen alongside city officials, local dignitaries, and the Desert European Motorcars campus team.
At 26,000 square feet, the architectural design of the new building offers customers comfortable lounges, spacious showrooms, ample natural light, and easy access in and out of the property for service. With such a gorgeous new facility, I’m sure the showroom and maintenance teams’ reputation for superior customer service will be even further enhanced. (For the record, Jaguar Rancho Mirage was named a 2014/2015 Pride of Jaguar award winner—one of the highest company honors representing outstanding performance in customer service, business, and sales.)
In addition to the expanded Jaguar/Land Rover dealership, Desert European Motorcars’ total 80,000 square feet of showrooms on seven acres offers an astounding collection of automobiles to the discerning desert customer, including Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, Maserati, McLaren, Porsche, and Rolls Royce. And even though I’m loyal to my Jag, I have to admit, whenever I’m in the area, I’m always tempted to stop by my favorite collection of dealerships on Highway 111 to simply just window shop.
