The City of Rancho Mirage is proud to host the 2018 Taste of Tahiti
During Taste of Tahiti, the two-day post-Thanksgiving festival that celebrates the largest island in French Polynesia, visitors to this annual event in Rancho Mirage will find great food and entertainment during the Taste of Tahiti Grand Show on Nov. 24, 2018.
Authenticity makes it grand
Sharing culture through dance, music, food and more, entertainers and participants travel to Rancho Mirage from Tahiti specifically for this event. Enjoy an energetic dance troupe directly from the island of Raiatea, Tahiti, French Polynesia along with local groups Ka Pa Hula I Mana from Palm Desert and Te Ori Mana from Temecula. This cultural experience will entertain and educate patrons about the native language, meaning of the moves and gestures, and the history and legend behind the dance and drumming. An integral part of the performance are the drummers, who are trained to enhance the experience of the dancers and convey the value of the culture.
