Brunch, spa and other treats for Mom’s big day
With Mother’s Day fast approaching, you don’t want to get stuck trying to pass off a fistful of dandelions as a gift. With so many options available in Rancho Mirage, you can treat mom as she deserves. Let this guide you to gifting her well.
Remember all those times throughout the year Mom has exhaustedly said, “I could use a spa day,” use this occasion to give her one. Here’s where you’ll find great options:
The Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage: “A Mother’s Daydream” session provides an 80-minute Ultimate Radiance Renewal Facial followed by a 50-minute Pure Relaxation Massage with aromatherapy and essential oils to melt away tension and de-stress. And expectant moms can be treated to “The Pampered Mom-to-Be,” a gentle and restorative 80-minute Naturally Nurtured Massage followed by a 50-minute customized facial. Both specials are offered throughout the entire month of May.
The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa: On Friday, May 10, from 6 to 8 p.m., moms can enjoy the Spa Soiree for Mother’s Day, an evening of mini-treatments including unique massages, scalp treatments, express facials and more. Admission of $75 per person includes a swag bag, hors d’oeuvres, wine bar, vendor demos, retail discounts and raffles throughout the night. RSVP is required by calling 760-770-2180.
Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa: There are a number of Mother’s Day specials to select from starting May 8th through May 14th, including “Mom’s Glowing Lift Facial,” the “Time for Me Mani & Pedi,” and the “Coffee Break Body Scrub,” which uses an espresso scrub designed to remove dead skin cells and reduce the appearance of imperfections. Share in the day with the “Mom & Me” special and select a 50-minute Swedish massage or a 50-minute essential cleansing facial followed by a glass of champagne and a spa lunch for two that includes chicken citrus salads and iced teas.
Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa: Treat Mom to a full body treatment with three different services. A 50-minute Rose Botanical Facial heals and regenerates the skin with a botanical blend of organic Australian rose and rose quartz collagen infusion mask. The 50-minute Rasmopolitan Pedicure with a scrub crafted with organic vodka, raspberry extract, and sugar and rice bran oil; and a sweet polish full of fresh raspberry notes. The Slimming Detox Body Wrap provides 50 minutes of micronutrients, minerals and antioxidants for improved health, better body contouring and overall well-being.
