Acqua California Bistro Continues Holiday Tradition

The holidays are always a great time to gather with friends and family. But many people are quick to say “no thanks” when it comes to planning, cooking and cleaning up a giant feast. Luckily, Acqua California Bistro continues a holiday tradition with Thanksgiving Dinner in Coachella Valley, making it convenient and less stressful for everyone.

What’s on the menu?

Guests can enjoy a four-course feast at either location that includes a choice of three delicious soups, three different salads, and nine delectable entrées of traditional oven-roasted turkey, holiday ham, fresh Atlantic salmon, prime rib, filet mignon and more.

Be sure to wear the “big pants” and save some room because there are also six sumptuous dessert choices, including classic pumpkin pie and apple crisp.

There are even a number of gluten-free and vegan options available. For example, the first course offers up classic corn chowder and wild mushroom soup. Entrees include quinoa stuffed acorn squash and spaghetti primavera. For dessert, there is gluten-free vanilla crème brulee and triple chocolate cake.

Your place at the table

Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to noon and dinners are served from 1 to 9 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Please call ahead to make your reservation (760-862-9800); $39.99 per person plus tax and $19.99 for children 12 and under plus tax, 20% gratuity optional.

There’s also a Holiday Happy Hour menu available from 11 am to close at the bar.

Acqua is the go-to restaurant in the mid-valley. There’s fine dining at tables indoors or enjoy the beautiful, heated, outdoor patio dining with spectacular river and mountain views. The River Room accommodates families and large parties.

Acqua has won a number of awards over the years, and the restaurants also houses one of the most eclectic collections of artwork found in any dining establishment. Before or after dining, take time to view the many murals, photographs, sculptures, and paintings.

At Acqua, along the front of the restaurant on Highway 111, the custom sculpture “Forks on their Way to Nirvana” by artists Tony and Karen Barone is a vibrant display of over-sized and brightly-colored metallic forks in flight. You’ll likely feel moved to snap a photo or two; it is one of the most popular Instagram-able attractions in the Coachella Valley.
