Fireworks and Festivities on the Fourth in Rancho Mirage

The City of Rancho Mirage is partnering with Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa for fireworks and festivities on the Fourth of July starting the evening with a holiday barbeque buffet. Typically closed on Wednesdays, Agua Caliente’s Grand Palms Buffet will be open from 4 to 9 p.m. to provide a delicious selection of barbeque favorites as well as a number of traditional dinner offerings for just $21.99 per person.

Parking Spaces Reserved For Rancho Mirage Residents

As part of the City’s sponsorship of the Fourth of July event, locals will find that 100 parking spaces will be specially designated for Rancho Mirage residents until 7:30 p.m. based on availability. Obtain a free of Resident Parking Permit in advance (with proof of residency) at Rancho Mirage City Hall located at 69825 Highway 111. On Independence Day, simply show your resident valet Resident Parking Permit for access to the fireworks display parking. The permit can also be used for free valet parking at any Rancho Mirage business throughout the day.

Lighting up the night desert sky

Beginning at 9 p.m., the patriotic celebrations showcase an amazing fireworks display. Tune into The Eagle 106.9 simulcast on KPSE for the soundtrack of the evening and hear synchronized music for the fireworks display. Spectators can park and view the fireworks in the Agua Caliente’s south lot by entering from Bob Hope Drive. Those who miss the live action or just want to view it again will be able to see it at 11 p.m. by tuning into KMIR.

Extra time above it all

In observance of the Independence Day holiday, the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway will have extended hours for visitors. Opening early on Wednesday, July 4, the first tram car heads up on the holiday at 8 a.m. The last tram car up will be 8 p.m. and the last tram car down will be at 9:45 p.m.
