Get Ready to Wine and Dine at the Rancho Mirage Wine and Food Festival

What do you get when you combine food, wine and music? A great time, of course, and the Rancho Mirage Wine and Food Festival promises to be a blast when it arrives in town on January 30.

The four-day event features wine seminars, dinners and tasting events so you can mix and match the tickets to suit your needs. Take a closer look at the special events below:

The First Two Days

From seminars to wine dinners, there are several events taking place during the first two days of the festival.

For seminars, check out the Distinctive and Diverse Wines of Sonoma on Wednesday, January 30 at 2 pm or The Lohr Family: Legendary Winegrowers on Thursday, January 31, at 12:15 pm for $30 each.

Choose from two different five-course wine dinners on Wednesday, January 30: Rombauer Vineyards Five-Course Dinner at Roy’s Rancho Mirage or Riboli Family Winery Five-Course Dinner at Pinzimini at the Westin Mission Hills. Both dinners begin at 6 pm with Roy’s available for $89 and Pinzimini for $96. Tickets are on sale now.

The Special Sunset Rare and Reserve Tasting

If you have a fondness for special wines, you won’t want to miss this exclusive event. The Special Sunset Rare and Reserve Tasting takes place on Friday, February 1, from 4 to 6 pm at the Rancho Mirage Amphitheater. With just 300 tickets being sold, you won’t want to wait on this event. Many of the wines are no longer being distributed so this may be your one chance to try some hard-to-find wines. Tickets are on sale now for $70.

The Grand Tasting

Considered the main event of the festival, the Grand Tasting takes place on Saturday, February 2, from 2 to 5 pm at the Rancho Mirage Community Park & Amphitheater. Grab your crystal souvenir wine glass at the entrance and get busy sampling hundreds of wines from California, Oregon and Washington. Save room to try some delicious bites from a few of the area’s top chefs too. General admission tickets cost $85 but you can splurge on the Early Entry ticket for $105 and enjoy an extra preview hour starting at 1 pm.

Bundle and Save

If you plan to attend multiple events, you may be interested in a ticket package. Packages are available that pair the Grand Tasting with a seminar of your choice or the Special Sunset Rare and Reserve Tasting as well as a four pack of tickets to the Grand Tasting.
