The holidays are coming, the holidays are coming! And in addition to gifts and good cheer, that means guests and a great many number of meals to prepare (and clean up!). It’s no wonder that many folks prefer to eat out in December, especially on those four special days and nights: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day. Thankfully, Rancho Mirage and its deluxe resorts are there for everyone—residents and visitors alike—in the Palm Springs Valley.

While holiday dining details concerning signature restaurant State Fare Bar & Kitchen are still being worked out at press time, the eatery will be open throughout the holidays, offering an a la carte menu as well as an additional seasonal four-course menu. Also finally open for business—as of December 17—is eagerly awaited steakhouse The Edge, which serves dinner only Wednesday through Sunday. Since many feel that this will be one of the primo spots in which to celebrate this festive time of year and ring in 2015, reservations are recommended. Bon appétit!
