Barbara and Robert Barrett met in art school over fifty years ago. In addition to exhibition their artwork they have led an exciting and varied life that included service in the Peace Corps, teaching art, managing municipal cultural programs, directing an art museum, serving as a high school vice principal and creating the first cultural tourism marketing program in the nation. Robert recently concluded his career as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the city of Rancho Mirage.

The exhibition will be presented at The River from October 17th – November 25th, 2017. A space, adjacent to Acqua California Bistro, has been converted to a state-of-the- art gallery for the presentation of the artwork that will be open free to the public on Sundays – Thursdays from 4 – 8 pm, and Fridays and Saturdays from 2 – 8 pm.
