Join us and celebrate Valentine’s Day with award-winning pianist Scott Beaty. This performance, part of Beaty’s new Silhouette concert series, will be accented with clips from Oscar-winning films as well as vocal selections. The evening will feature overtures from Bernstein, Wagner, Gershwin, and more. Beaty has performed to sold-out crowds across the country, played for President Gerald Ford, and was hired by Sonny Bono to perform for the first ten years of the Palm Springs International Film Festival. This year marks his twenty-seventh year performing at the McCallum Theatre. He is active in the fundraising efforts of many groups including the Desert AIDS Project, The Steinway Society, and The Virginia Waring International Piano Competition.
