Rancho Mirage’s beautifully inviting Whitewater Park (just off Highway 111, behind the big pink elephant!) is the place to be on the next few Tuesday evenings as our city continues to celebrate its 40th anniversary with free outdoor movies for all! I made it to last week’s screening of “From Here To Eternity,” where I was joined by a comfortable crowd of film lovers who luxuriated in the evening’s perfect temperature while sprawled on blankets or lawn chairs. Many brought simple—and a few not-so-simple—picnic dinners, while others bought freshly made popcorn for the onsite vendor. There’s even valet parking, so you don’t have to walk far with your picnic basket and chairs!
These Tuesday Movie Nights will continue for three more weeks with great films all starring former residents of Rancho Mirage. It’s a great outing, and you can’t beat the price! See you there!
