5th ANNUAL DESERT WOMAN’S SHOW TO BE BIGGER, BETTER AND MORE CHARITABLE THAN EVER
November 17 & 18 Event Will “Awaken The Goddess Within” And Feature Home, Health, Wealth, Art, Fashion And Beauty
Rancho Mirage, CA, August 14, 2012 – One of the largest Women’s Shows in California, the 5th annual Desert Woman’s Show set for November 17th & 18th, is expanding into two conference buildings at The Westin Mission HillsResort & Spa in Rancho Mirage and is expected to attract 5,000 visitors. The weekend-long event puts a spotlight on women’s issues and focuses on improvement and enlightenment in every aspect of a woman’s life.
The Celebrity Conference Center will consist of Home, Health & Wellness connections including Desert Regional Medical Center’s Wellness Center, offering complimentary screenings, intro’s to their Top Docs and demonstrations of their new daVinci robot plus financial breakout sessions, fitness demonstrations and over 100 enticing, life-enhancing exhibits. Local vendors will feature everything from Cambria toxic free quartz surfaces, chiropractic services, rejuvenating massage, holistic solutions, nutritional supplements, renowned cosmetic surgeons, including Dr. Andrew Ordon, the co-host of the Emmy award-winning daytime talk show, “The Doctors”, who will share tips from his new book, “Better in 7”.
The Ambassador Conference Center will feature Art & Fashion with fine jewelry, fall fashion trends as well as many local artists, including Karen & Tony Barone with their famed “Mac & Cheese” and “R Hero” sculpture pieces. Fashion participants include local celebrity Michael Costello (Lifetime Television’s “Project Runway”), Macy’s Palm Desert and V&G Hipwear with daily fashion events on the Macy’s Center Stage.
Additionally, Reesa Manning, Senior Financial Advisor with Integrated Wealth Management is hosting her own ‘financial bootcamp’ sessions on sensitive subjects such as “What Happens When Harry Dies” and “Dealing with Inheritance.” Among the featured attractions on Saturday Nov 17 will be author of “Sexy in Your Sixties” Joan Bunny, local fashion editor and producer of El Paseo Fashion Week, Susan Stein and the Alberici Sisters, members of the original Dean Martin “Golddiggers” who are authors of the book, “Beyond Our Wildest Dreams,” the blog “Your Powerful Life,” as well as being Yoga, Pilates and Thai Chi instructors.
Sunday (Nov 18) The Holistic Network has sponsored an “Awakening the Goddess Within” series with Lori Ann Lothian, creator of the popular ‘The Awakened Dreamer’ blog. Lori Ann is also a love and relationship writer/editor of the publication “Elephant Journal” as well as a regular contributor on the topic of enlightened love between the sexes for various publications. Additional speakers include co-developer of Thought Field Therapy Joanne Callahan, Dr Karen Vizer: Eating for Energy & Beauty, and Renee Baribeau, The Practical Shaman offering “Joy in Everyday Living”.
Not to leave the men in the cold, the 2012 Desert Woman’s Show will feature a new “Concours Under the Palms,” a fabulous display of luxury and classic cars, the Taste of the Valley including 20 locals restaurants, a beer garden and a solar powered Healthy Lifestyles Stage with local chefs, organic gardening demonstrations and a fulltime All-Stars Band.
