The City of Rancho Mirage, in Partnership with Desert Recreation District, invites the public to the inaugural Cinema Under the Stars film series. Beginning this Saturday, April 14th, the classic film Casablanca will be shown on the big screen at the Rancho Mirage Amphitheater. Gates will open at 6:30 p.m. with the movies beginning at sunset.
Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, food and beverages to this extraordinary outdoor cinematic experience. This event is free to the public and includes complimentary popcorn and water.
Cinema Under the Stars film series schedule is set for five consecutive Saturdays as follows:
- Saturday April 14 – Casablanca
- Saturday April 21 – Citizen Kane
- Saturday April 28 – Breakfast at Tiffany’s
- Saturday May 5 – Singing in the Rain
- Saturday May 12 – The Wizard of Oz
