Two lady bartenders serve up a panoply of delectable concoctions from their mid-dining room saloon but perhaps none more tasty than this nectar named after Rancho Mirage hero Bob Hope.  Towne was Bob Hope’s surname before he took on Hope and conquered the world.  Bob hope never resided in Rancho Mirage – his desert homes were all in Palm Springs – but he stayed and played here often.  It was his  donation of land that made the Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage a reality.  Hope was conceived by both Natasha and Andrea.  It is as beautiful in the glass is it is delicious on the palate.

Cocktail:  Towne’ Hope

Ingredients:

• Amaretto
• Sweet Vermouth
• Sweet and Sour Mix
• muddled orange, cherry, bar sugar
• shake with ice
• chilled martini glass
• orange twist and cherry garnish
