Rancho Mirage Spa Programs

Everyone knows that spa therapy is good for both body and soul, and that Rancho Mirage’s first-class resorts offer residents of and visitors to the Palm Springs Valley top-notch options in that department.  And while sessions now-and-then are better than none, the smartest among us go for the generous and affordable spa programs available at Aqua Caliente Casino Resort Spa, Rancho Las Palmas, and the Westin Mission Hills.

At Sunstone: The Spa at Agua Caliente, the Taking of the Waters pass includes access to the facility’s fitness center, outdoor mineral pools, main swimming pool, steam, sauna, inhalation room, tranquility room, locker room and showers (with robe and slippers, naturally)—not to mention one ten-minute mineral bath session.  This program, offered Monday through Friday (excluding holidays and/or peak business volume), is available for $40 to day guests without treatment ($25 with massage/facial or body treatment), and $35 for hotel guests without treatment ($20 with massage/facial or body treatment).  Weekends/holidays/peak business periods do require purchase of a massage, facial, or body treatment in order to access the TOW program.  In addition, a fitness/pool pass is available (excluding holidays/weekends/peak periods) for $15, which grants admittance to the fitness center, scheduled fitness classes, outdoor mineral pools, and the main swimming pool.  A Spa Day Pass at Sunstone runs $25, and includes steam, sauna, whirlpool, fitness center, and private spa pool.

Over at Rancho Las Palmas’ Spa Las Palmas, the monthly Spa Express Program includes one 50-minute treatment to use anytime, with the same guaranteed low rate to follow each month of your contract.  Use of the fitness center, serenity pool, relaxation rooms, and more is included.  Spa Express bonuses include preferred access to seasonal events such as Spa Under the Stars, as well as 20% off dining at bluEmber, 20% off Spa Boutique purchases, 20% off salon services, and 50% off yoga classes.  A three-month contract runs $119 per month, with six- and 12-month commitments going for $99 and $89 monthly, respectively.

The Westin Mission Hills Resort and Spa offers two options within its Resident Recharge Program, which is open to residents as well as visitors.  The Spa Card includes one 50-minute spa treatment per month; unlimited use of the spa facilities, fitness center (open 24 hours), yoga classes, and resort pools; plus 20% discount on golf range fees, meals at Bella Vista or The Den Lobby Lounge, and additional spa treatments.  Pricing is $159 per month, $119 monthly for a three-month contract, $99 monthly for a  six-month contract, or $89 monthly for a 12-month contract.  The Resort Card has all the benefits of the Spa Card minus the one monthly 50-minute spa treatment.  Pricing is $75 monthly, or $65, $55, and $45 monthly for three-, six-, or 12-month contracts, respectively.

So do as I do and as I say.  Rather than treat yourself to a single spa treatment once every blue moon, enlist in one—or all three—of these great staycation deals and get much, much more for your money.  Your body and soul will thank you.Rancho Mirage Spa Programs
