Sometimes there’s just no such thing as “too early.” More than six months ahead of time, mega promoter Goldenvoice chose to announce the full lineup for Stagecoach California’s Country Music Festival, Edition 2015, which will take place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio from April 24 – 26. Passes go on sale at www.stagecoachfestival.com Tuesday, October 14 at 10:00 a.m
On Friday, April 24, Tim McGraw will headline, with some of the other acts sharing the bill being Jake Owen, Merle Haggard, Kip Moore, Kacey Musgraves, The Devil Makes Three, Parmalee, and The Time Jumpers featuring Vince Gill, Dawn Sears, Kenny Sears, and Ranger Doug Green.
Saturday, April 25 will see Miranda Lambert headlining, with other stages being occupied by the likes of Justin Moore, Dierks Bentley, Eli Young Band, Cassadee Pope, ZZ Top, Gregg Allman, and the Cast of “Nashville” (Charles Esten, Clare Bowen, and Chris Carmack).
On Sunday, April 26, “The Voice” coaching judge and judging coach Blake Shelton will close out the main stage while performers on the periphery include Sara Evans, the Oak Ridge Boys, The Band Perry, Jerrod Niemann, Frankie Ballard, Hot Rize, Outlaws, and George Thorogood and The Destroyers.
This time won’t be the first time that both Lambert and Shelton—who were married in 2011—sing at Stagecoach, but their separate headlining on different nights is indeed unprecedented. I don’t know about you, but I’m already two-steppin’ in my dreams. Can’t wait to dust off my cowboy boots and my 10-gallon hat for what is sure to be another fantastic festival. See all y’all there, ya hear?
