The Coachella Music & Arts Festival (April 16th, 17th and 18th) and the Stagecoach County Music Festival (April 24th and 25th) are upon us. Got tickets? Bet you do.

Now’s the time to think about some of the things that can make or break your fun.

It’ll be HOT and COLD!

  • Bring lots of bottled water and drink it. Keep the water flowing ‘cuz when you’re thirsty you’re already dehydrated. Nothing
can spoil the experience like a trip to the emergency room for sunstroke. And if you get it you won’t get back to rocking for a
few days so expensive tickets will be wasted.
  • Heads under hats. Got to have one and keep it on so the pate doesn’t become a fried dome.
  • Slather on the sun screen. Use lip balm. Try going from white to tan at the festivals and you’ll end up in emergency looking
like a lobster and feeling whipped.
  • Soothing skin care products. Bring them and use them.
  • Sunglasses for the glare are a must.
  • Layers of shirts and long sleeved tees for the night chill that will seem much colder than it is due the mid-day contrast. Shorts in the day should be replaced with jeans at night.
  • As the music get hotter the night air gets cooler. Bring a blanket to cozy under as the night progresses.
  • Book a Resort in Rancho Mirage and slip into a little luxury each night to catch some rejuvenating shut eye.
